Columbus has been an interesting city to try and photograph - I've done a few photo walks and the most recent was by far the most successful, but I can't say that I've necessarily figured it out from a street photographer's perspective. As the capital of the state and being a college town, there just... isn't much that has really drawn my eye for the most part.
The downtown areas are largely very corporate which is uninteresting to photograph (in my opinion), and overall the different areas that could be interesting aren't what I would consider "walkable" - I'd have to plan ahead and drive my car between areas, which isn't generally how I like to work. If I'm getting back in my car after being out for street photography, it's generally because I'm calling it a day as it takes me out of the "moment" (mostly because I really hate driving, it's just a necessary evil - I'd rather have good public transit).
I've also just never been much of a planner - at most I'll select areas that I'm interested in, but I generally want to spend my time wandering the streets and just seeing what I can find. I do want to get better at this somewhat, but trying to figure out locations for certain areas can be difficult when you're not really sure what you're looking for in the first place.
With that said, here are some of my favorites that I have been able to get around the city - who knows, maybe some day I'll return to find an area that really draws my eye a bit more.
As always; stay curious!
